The palace in the Imperial Palace is a facility where the emperor performs ceremonies such as state affairs and imperial events. The new palace was built in the Nishinomaru of the Imperial Palace and was completed in November 1968 (Showa 43).
It has 2 floors above ground, 1 floor below ground,and a total area of 36,000 m2. It consists of 7 buildings, including Seiden, Homeiden, and Rensui, and faces the building in the courtyard, eastern garden, and south garden. The stamp is designed with the completed new palace and the dance "Ryo-Oh"(Dance with the accompaniment of "Gagaku" performed by an ancient musical instrument.
