第50回全国高等学校野球選手権大会 1968年（昭和43年） 8月 9日発行 高校野球の全国大会には春と夏の2大会があり、現在は甲子園球場で開催されているため、甲子園野球大会とも呼ばれる。夏大会は1915年、春大会は1924年に始まった。夏大会は1968年に50回大会（3回中止）、2019年に100回大会を迎えた。切手は全国高校野球大会50回開催を記念して発行され、投手と優勝旗、人文字がデザインされている。
High School Baseball Tournament Issued on August 9, 1968 (Showa 43)
There are two national high school baseball tournaments, spring and summer. Since it is currently held at Koshien Stadium, it is also called the Koshien Baseball Tournament. The summer tournament began in 1915 and the spring tournament began in 1924. The summer tournament reached 50 times in 1968 (3 times canceled) and 100 times in 2019.
Stamps are issued to commemorate the 50th National High School Baseball Championship, with pitchers, banners, and human characters designed.
