小笠原諸島復帰 1968年（昭和43年） 6月 26日発行 小笠原諸島は1593年、信州深志城主の曾孫、小笠原貞頼により発見された。人が定住したのは江戸時代後期の1830である。その後、江戸幕府や明治政府の調査、開拓により 1876年には国際的に日本領土として認められた。太平洋戦争終結で米軍が管轄していたが、1968年に日本に復帰した。切手は小笠原諸島の日本復帰を記念して発行され、小笠原ビロウと島の夜明けがデザインされている。
