北海道100年 1968年（昭和43年） 6月 14日発行 1869年、明治政府は開拓使の設置に伴い蝦夷地の名称を「北加伊道」を基本とし「加伊」を「海」に改めた「北海道」とすることを決定した。同年、太政官布告により正式に命名された。切手はその100年を迎える記念として発行され、北海道の記念塔と記章がデザインされた。
