第5回国際港湾協会総会 1967年（昭和42年）5月8日発行 第二次大戦後の復興の中、当時の日本港湾協会首脳は、国際的な港湾の協力と連帯の重要性に基づき、国際港湾社会の組織化を目指した。1952年、神戸に主要港関係者を招き、第1回国際港湾会議を開催し、恒久的な国際的組織設立を決議した。1955年、ロスアンゼルスで第2回国際港湾会議が開催され、国際港湾協会が正式に創立された。1967年5月、第5回IAPH東京総会が高松宮宣仁親王殿下御臨席で開催され、同年、IMOから非政府諮問機関（Special Consulative Status)として公式に認められた。切手は、第5回IAPH東京総会を記念して発行され、神戸港がデザインされた。

During the post-war reconstruction, the leaders of the Japan Port Association at that time aimed to organize an international port society based on the importance of international port cooperation and solidarity. In 1952, he invited major port officials to Kobe, held the first international port conference, and resolved to establish a permanent international organization. In 1955, the 2nd International Port Conference was held in Los Angeles, and the International Port Association was officially founded.In May 1967, the 5th IAPH Tokyo General Assembly was held in the presence of His Imperial Highness Prince Nobuhito Takamatsu, and in the same year, it was officially recognized as a non-governmental advisory body (Special Consulative Status) by the IMO.The stamp was issued in commemoration of the 5th IAPH Tokyo General Assembly, and the port of Kobe was designed.
