がん征圧運動 1966年（昭和41年）10月21日発行 がん征圧運動は、日本対がん協会が1958年（昭和33年）の創立以来、がん知識の普及とがん検診事業の推進を活動の２本柱として、20世紀後半の日本における民間のがん征圧運動をリードしており、その支部として地域の保健事業や啓発活動を行っている。 9月は、「がん征圧月間」としてさまざまな活動を行っている。切手は1966年9月の「がん征圧月間」を記念して発行され、「回転式コバルト照射機」がデザインされている。
