第11回太平洋学術会議 1966年（昭和41年）8月22日発行 Pacific Science Association，PSA；PSAは、1920年にホノルルで設立された、地域に根ざした非政府学術組織である。設立の趣旨はアジア太平洋地域の持続可能な発展を支える科学技術の発展に寄与することである。PSAの活動として、４年ごとに開催されるアジア平洋学術会議がある。切手は、1966年8月に日本で開催されたマルチ会議を記念して発行され、環太平洋地域の地図がデザインされている。
11th Pacific Science Congress Issued on August 22, 1966 (Showa 41) The Pacific Science Association (PSA) is a community-based non-governmental academic organization founded in Honolulu in 1920. The purpose of the establishment is to contribute to the development of science and technology that supports the sustainable development of the Asia-Pacific region. As an activity of PSA, there is the Asian Pacific Science Council held every four years.The stamp was issued in commemoration of the multi-con-ference held in Japan in August 1966, and a map of the Pacific Rim region is designed.
