国際工業所有権保護協会 東京総会 1966年（昭和41年）4月11日発行 日本国際知的保護協会（旧工業所有権保護協会）は、、1956年にAIPPI（国際知的財産保護協会）の日本部会を母体として設立され、国内および海外の知的財産制度の動向に関する調査・研究を行うとともに、国際的な知的財産保護の向上と発展に資するため活動している。切手は、1966年の東京開催を記念して発行され、特許、実用新案、意匠、商標のシンボルがデザインされている。
General Conference of A.I.P.P.I Issued on April 11, 1966 (Showa 41) The Japan International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property was established in 1956 mainly by the Japan Subcommittee of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
