第２０回国民体育大会 1965年（昭和40年）10月24日発行
1965年10月、第20回国民体育大会は岐阜県を中心に開催された。この大会の前年に東京オリンピックが開催されたため、この大会には多くのオリンピック出場選手が参加して話題となった。
切手は、この大会を記念して発行され、鞍馬と競歩がデザインされている。
20th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 24, 1965 (Showa 40) In October 1965, the 20th National Athletic Meet was held mainly in Gifu prefecture. Since the Tokyo Olympics were held the year before this tournament, many Olympic athletes participated in this tournament and became a hot topic.Stamps are issued in commemoration of this tournament, and are designed for gymnastics pommel horses and racewalking.
