国民参政75周年 1965年（昭和40年）10月15日発行
1965年10月は日本の国民参政権が与えられて75周年にあたる。1889年に税15円以上を納める25歳以上の男子に初の選挙権が与えられた。1925年、25歳以上の男子全員に選挙権が与えられた。 戦後、1946年に日本国憲法が公布され、20歳以上の男女に参政権が与えられた。

75th Anniv. of the General Suffrage Issued on October 15, 1965 (Showa 40) October 1965 marks the 75th anniversary of Japan's suffrage.
