National Land Afforestation Campaign Issued on May 9, 1965 (Showa 40) After the end of the war, the National Land Afforestation Movement was advocated by wrapping the rough land with lively greenery. Therefore, the Forest Protection Federation was formed in 1947, and the movement started. In 1950, the National Land Greening Promotion Committee was established, and the green feather campaign, school tree planting contest, and the first national tree planting festival started, and it is still an annual event.The stamp was issued in May 1965 to commemorate it, and designed with trees and sunlight.
