Communications Museum Issued on March 25, 1965 (Showa 40) The Communications Museum (Postal Museum) was established in 1902 for the purpose of storing and disclosing materials related to the Japanese communication system and postage stamps and other postal materials. After that, in 1964, it moved to the "Communications Building" in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and became the "Communications Museum". In 2014, it was relocated for demolition work and is now open to the public as the "Postal Museum" in Tokyo Skytree Town.The stamp was issued in commemoration of the completion of the Communications Museum Building in 1964 and the "World Stamp Exhibition" held at that time, and the whole view of the building is designed.
