姫路城修理完成記念 1964年（昭和39年）6月1日発行 姫路城は、兵庫県姫路市にある日本を代表する城である。16世紀（1555年）に天守閣が建築され、国宝や重要文化財およびユネスコの世界遺産に登録されている。別名は白鷺城（しらさぎじょう）。姫路城は1930年中頃から大修繕が開始され、延20万人が参加したこの工事は、30年後の1964年に完成した。切手は、姫路城大修理完成を記念して発行され、修繕後の姫路城全景がデザインされている。
