国際かんがい排水委員会総会 1963年（昭和38年） 5月 15日発行 1950年、インドの提唱で「国際かんがい委員会」が創設された。灌漑・排水を通して食料や繊維の供給を世界規模で強化することを目的として、ニューデリーに中央事務局を置く。2015年現在、75の国と地域が加盟している。総会は3年に1度開かれ、加盟国の委員が出席する。切手は、1963年に東京で開催された国際かんがい委員会総会を記念して発行され、地球と水路がデザインされている。
Int.Comm. on lrrigation and Drainage Issued on May 15, 1963 (Showa 38) In 1950, the "International Commission on Irrigation" was established under the auspices of India.A central secretariat will be set up in New Delhi with the aim of strengthening the supply of food and textiles on a global scale through irrigation and drainage. As of 2015, 75 countries and regions are members. The General Assembly is held once every three years and is attended by members of Member States.
