飢餓救済運動 1963年（昭和38年） 3月21日発行 飢餓救済運運動（ハンガー・フリー・ワールド：HFW）は、飢餓のない世界をめざして活動する国際協力NGOである。今、世界では10人に1人が“慢性的な栄養不足”＝“飢餓”に直面している。必要な食料を自らの手で得られることは、人間のもっとも基本的な権利のひとつである。HFWは、この「食料への権利」の実現のため、住民の自立を支援している。切手は、飢餓救済運動の日本会議を記念して発行され、地球とロゴマークがデザインされている。
Freedom from Hunger Issued on March 21, 1963 (Showa 38) The Hunger Free World (HFW) is an international cooperation NGO that works toward a world free of hunger. Today, one in ten people in the world is facing "chronic undernourishment" = "hunger". Getting the food we need is one of the most basic human rights. HFW is supporting the independence of residents to realize this "right to food". The stamp was issued in commemoration of the Japan Conference of Hunger Free World, and the earth and logo mark are designed.
