Philatelic Week Issued on April 20, 1962 (Showa 37) In April 1962, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamp hobby week stamps. This time, the "Hanashita Yurakuzu" drawn by Naganobu Kano, a painter from the Edo period, was designed. Naganobu Kano is the head of the Kano group who was active from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period, and is a painter for the Edo Shogunate. He is known as the author of the masterpiece of Momoyama period genre painting, "Hanashita Yurakuzu Folding Screen".
