第12回国民体育大会 1957年（昭和32年）10月26日発行 第12回国民体育大会は、1957年1月から10月に開催された。冬季大会は、栃木県日光市と兵庫県日高町でスケートやスキー競技が行われ、夏季大会は、静岡県浜松市と伊東市で陸上、球技、その他競技が開催された。切手は、夏季大会の走り幅跳びとバスケットボールがデザインされている。
12th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 26, 1957 (Showa 32) The 12th National Athletic Meet was held from January to October 1957. In the Winter Games, skating, skiing, and other winter sports were held in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture and Hidaka Town, Hyogo Prefecture, and in the Summer Games,athletics, ball games, and other sports were held in Hamamatsu City and Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture.The stamp is designed for the long jump and basketball of the Summer Games.
