第11回国民体育大会 1956年（昭和31年）10月28日発行 1956年（昭和31年）10月、郵政省は、第11回国民体育大会記念切手２種を発行した。第11回国民体育大会は、冬期大会は青森県、夏と秋大会は兵庫県で開催された。この大会から、国体開催地の持ち回りの見直しと、コスト削減・合理化が行われた。参加人員を1割減として、本部役員数も減じた。また、夏季大会の日程短縮や、新設される屋内体育施設は、学校の付属施設とした。
