電気通信連合加盟75年 1954年（昭和29年）10月13日発行
1954年（昭和29年）10月、郵政省は電気通信連合加盟75年記念切手2種を発行した。電気通信連合は、1855年、パリで発足した西部欧州電機連合が始まりである。
その後、1865年に組織統合され、万国電信連合として設立された。日本は1879年（明治12年）に加盟した。

In October 1954 (Showa 29), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two types of stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of joining the Telecommunications Union.
The Telecommunications Union started in 1855 with the Western European Electrical Electronic & Information Union, which was established in Paris.After that, the organization was integrated in 1865 and established as the Universal Telecom Union.Japan joined in 1879 (Meiji 12).
