第9回国民体育大会 1954年（昭和29年）8月22日発行 1954年（昭和29年）8月、郵政省は、第9回国民体育大会切手２種を発行した。第9回国民体育大会は秋季大会が寒冷地北海道で行われることから、夏季大会に先だって実施される変則日程となった。この切手は、今までの国民体育大会切手とサイズが異なり、正方形になっている。
9th National Athletic Meet Issued on August 22, 1954 (Showa 29) In August 1954 (Showa 29), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two types of stamps for the 9th National Athletic Meet. The 9th National Athletic Meet is an irregular schedule that will be held prior to the Summer Games, as the Autumn Games will be held in cold regions of Hokkaido. This stamp is different in size from the stamps of National Athletic Meet so far, it is square.
