レスリング選手権 1954年（昭和29年）5月22日発行 1954年（昭和29年）5月、郵政省はレスリング選手権記念切手１種を発行した。この年、レスリング世界選手権は、日本・東京でフリースタイルのみ開催された。今大会はグレコローマンも含め初めてヨーロッパ以外で開催された世界選手権である。

In May 1954 (Showa 29), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a kind of wrestling championship commemorative stamp.This year, the World Wrestling Championships were held only in freestyle in Tokyo, Japan.
This tournament is the first world championship held outside Europe,including Greco-Roman.
