郵便創始80年 1951年（昭和26年）4月14日発行 郵政省は1946年の郵便創始75年記念に続き、本年4月に同80年記念小型シートを発行した。図案は前島密の普通1円切手4枚を配した。 この切手は、郵便週間のために発行されたもので、 見返り美人や月に雁と同様「切手趣味週間」に入るはずであるが、収集界の慣習上、一般的記念切手として扱われるケースが多くみられる。
80th Anniv. of the Postal Services Issued on April 14, 1951 (Showa 26)
In April 1951 (Showa 26), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued small sheet commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the postal service. This follows the issuance of postage stamps commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the postal service five years ago.
As for the design, four Maejima Hisoka 1-yen stamps were arranged.This stamp was issued for "Postal Week" and should fall into the same category as MikaeriBijin and TUKI-NI-KARI, but is treated as a general commemorative stamp by the customs of the collecting world.
