長崎文化都市 1949年(昭和24年)8月9日発行 1949年(昭和24年)8月、郵政省は広島に続き、長崎国際文化都市建設法施行に伴う被爆地長崎の平和と復興の記念切手を発行した。図案は当初長崎の被爆後の廃墟と復興を描いたものが提案されたが、最終的に長崎の名所と平和シンボルの鳩を描いたものに決定された。
Nagasaki City Issued on August 9, 1949 (Showa 24) In August 1949 (Showa 24), the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a commemorative stamp for the peace and reconstruction of the atomic bombed area of Nagasaki following the enforcement of the Nagasaki International Cultural City Construction Law, following Hiroshima. Initially, the design was proposed to depict the ruins and reconstruction of Nagasaki after the atomic bombing, but in the end it was decided to depict Nagasaki's famous sights and the peace symbol "dove".
