第３回国民体育大会記念 1948年（昭和23年）10月29日発行 1948年（昭和23年）10月から11月にかけて、第3回国民体育大会が九州福岡を中心に開催された。逓信省はこれを記念して4種の連刷切手を発行した。デザインの種目は、100メートル走、走高跳、自転車、野球であり、これらの80面シートはネガをソリテキス（分殖機）により交互に焼き付けしたもので、第2回国体シートと同様に、全体がリズミカルに構成されている。
3rd National Athletic Meet Issued on October 29, 1948 (Showa 23)
From October to November 1948, the 3rd National Sports Festival was held mainly in Fukuoka, Kyushu.To commemorate this, the Ministry of Communications issued four types of continuous stamps. The design is 100 meters, high jump, bicycle and baseball. These 80-sided sheets are made by alternately baking negatives with a solitex (splitting machine), and like the 2nd National Athletic Meet sheet, the whole is rhythmically constructed.
