明治神宮鎮座記念 1920年（大正9年）11月1日発行 1913年（大正2）、明治天皇と皇后の祭神として、政府は明治神宮の建設を建議した。代々木に72.6万㎡の敷地に荘厳な社殿が造営開始された。7年後、1920年11月に竣工祭が催された。
Meiji Shrine Completion Memorial Issued on November 1, 1920 (Taisho 9) In 1913 (Taisho 2), the government proposed the construction of the Meiji Shrine as a deity of the Emperor Meiji and the Empress. A magnificent shrine was started built on a 726,000-square-meter site in Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku. Seven years later,the completion festival was held in November 1920.
