Emperor Taisho coronation ceremony issued on November 10, 1915 (Taisho 4) In July 1912 (Meiji 45), the Emperor Meiji collapsed. Immediately after that, the crown prince, Yoshihito, became the new emperor, changing from the Meiji era to the Taisho era. After a period of mourning, in 1915 (Taisho 4), the emperor's coronation ceremony was performed.
To commemorate this, four kinds of stamps were issued.
