１９９４年、郵政省は普通切手図案統一および消費税対応のため新デザイン切手を発行し、１９９４年からは、郵便料金改定と新しい光検知器対応のための切手を発行した。上記は自動販売機用コイル切手３種（５０円・８０円：１９９４年発行、１０円：１９９８年発行）である。
