1967年シリーズ（色検知導入後）2 1967年（昭和42年）－1971年（昭和46年） １９６７年、色検知・識郵便物押印方式運用のため、切手周囲に05ミリ幅の検知枠入切手が発行された。最初は神奈川県川崎郵便局で実験的に発売が開始され、その成果が良好だったため,東京中央郵便局をはじめ全国に普及した。その後、郵便番号制が導入され、コンピューターの「郵便番号自動読み取り区分機」が東京中央郵便局で実働になった。
