愛林週間 1956（昭和31年） 2月 18日発行 沖縄の緑化回復活動は、1951年から毎年2月18日から25日までの1週間、琉球政府が資金と苗木を提供し、民間が植林する環境緑化運動で、1955年まで続けられた。その後、1955年（昭和30）10月、アメリカ軍によって愛林週間が定められ、活動が開始された。切手は、沖縄の森林のイメージがデザインされている。
