子供の日 1962（昭和37年） 5月 5日発行 こどもの日は、日本の国民の祝日の一つで5月5日に制定されている。 日本において「端午の節句（たんごのせっく）」は男の子の記念日となっているが、「こどもの日」は男女の子供の区別はない。 また、子供を産んでくれた母に感謝する日でもある。切手は、子供の日を記念して発行され、「アダン細工とこけし人形」がデザインされている。
Children's Day Issued on May 5, 1962 (Showa37) Children's Day is one of the national holidays of Japan and is set on May 5th. In Japan, "Tango no Sekku" is a boy's anniversary, but "Children's Day" does not distinguish between men and women. It is also a day to thank my mother for giving birth to a child. Stamps are issued to commemorate Children's Day and are designed with "Adan work and kokeshi dolls".
