切手趣味週間 1962（昭和37年） 7月 5日発行 この年から沖縄の切手趣味週間切手が発行された。この後、1972年の沖縄返還まで計11回発行された。これ以降、沖縄切手が本土の切手蒐集家に人気が広がり、1964年の東京オリンピックを契機に更に人気が増大した。切手は、「赤絵椀（陶器）」がデザインされている。
Philatelic Week Issued on Jul. 5, 1962 (Showa37) From this year, Okinawa stamp hobby weekly stamps were issued. After that, it was issued 11 times in total until the return of Okinawa in 1972. Since then, Okinawa stamps have become popular among mainland stamp collectors, and have become even more popular with the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. The stamp is designed with "Aka-e bowl (pottery)".
