東西対抗剣道 1962（昭和37年） 7月 25日発行 1962年（昭和37）7月25日、第8回全日本東西対抗剣道大会が沖縄の那覇市で開催された。この大会は全日本剣道連盟が主宰して、1954年（昭和29）から開始された。切手は、これを記念して発行され、剣道の構えと島の遠景がデザインされている。
All Japan Kendo Tournament Issued on Jul. 25, 1962 (Showa37) On July 25, 1962 (Showa 37), the 8th All Japan East-West Kendo Tournament was held in Naha City, Okinawa. This tournament was presided over by the All Japan Kendo Federation and started in 1954 (Showa 29). The stamp was issued in commemoration of this, and the stance of Kendo and the distant view of the island are designed.
