全琉緑化 1963（昭和38年） 3月 25日発行 1959年に開始された全琉緑化運動に続き、1961年にもこの社会運動の記念切手が発行された。当時の沖縄は、太平洋戦争の最後の激戦地となったことで、膨大な自然や施設が激しく破壊され、琉球政府及び民間による復旧が大きな使命だった。切手は、その宣伝のために、1962年に続き、1963年にも樹木をデザインして発行された。
Promoting Reforestation Issued on Mar. 25, 1963 (Showa38) Following the All-Ryu Greening Movement started in 1959, a commemorative stamp for this social movement was issued in 1961. At that time, Okinawa became the last fierce battlefield of the Pacific War, and a huge amount of nature and facilities were severely destroyed, and restoration by the Ryukyu government and the private sector was a major mission. Stamps were issued by designing trees in 1963, following 1962, for the purpose of promoting them.
