沖縄本島一周道路完成 1963（昭和38年） 4月 30日発行 1963年（昭和38）沖縄本島を周回する全長27．5キロの国頭一周線の開通により、1号線と13号線が連結して、沖縄本島一周の 道路網 （ どうろもう ） が完成し、「夢の一周線」と言われた。切手はこれを記念して発行され、この一周道路を示した沖縄本島鳥瞰図がデザインされている。
Round Road in Okinawa Issued on Apr. 30, 1963 (Showa38) In 1963 (Showa 38), with the opening of the Kunigami round line with a total length of 27.5 km that goes around the main island of Okinawa, Lines 1 and 13 were connected, and the road network around the main island of Okinawa was completed. It was said, "One round of dreams." A stamp was issued in commemoration of this, and a bird's-eye view of the main island of Okinawa showing this roundabout road is designed.
