塩屋橋完成 1963（昭和38年） 6月 5日発行 大宜味村(おおぎみそん)の塩屋湾にかかる塩屋橋（初代）は、1963年に完成した。この橋は、塩屋湾の宮城島と塩屋を結ぶ、中央部分が赤いアーチ型のランガ～橋だった。この橋は塩屋湾のシンボル的存在だったが、老朽化が進み、36年の歴史に幕を閉じた。現在の塩屋大橋は1999年に完成した。切手は塩屋橋完成を記念して発行され、塩屋橋全景がデザインされている。
Opening of Shioya Bridge Issued on Jun. 5, 1963 (Showa38) "The Shioya Bridge (first generation) over Shioya Bay in Ogimi Village was completed in 1963. This bridge was a red arched Langer Bridge connecting Miyagi Island and Shioya in Shioya Bay. This bridge was a symbol of Shioya Bay, but it has deteriorated and has closed its curtain on 36 years of history. The current Shioya Ohashi was completed in 1999. Stamps are issued to commemorate the completion of Shioya Bridge. The whole view of Shioyabashi is designed.
