ボーイスカウト 1965（昭和40年） 2月 6日発行 日本のボーイスカウトは、1922（大正11）年4月13日に「少年団日本連盟」が創立され、ボーイスカウト国際事務局に正式加盟し、世界の仲間入りを果たした。沖縄のボーイスカウトは、1955年（昭和30）に創立された。現在沖縄の海洋資源保護やその他の社会活動に活躍している。切手は、創立10周年を記念して発行され、ボーイスカウトと守礼門がデザインされている。この切手はみほん加刷1500枚が配布された。
10th Anniv. of Ryukyu Boy Scouts Issued on Feb.5, 1965 (Showa40) The Japanese Boy Scouts became a member of the world by officially joining the Boy Scout International Secretariat when the "Scout Association of Japan" was established on April 13, 1922 (Taisho 11). The Okinawan Boy Scout was founded in 1955 (Showa 30). Currently Okinawa's marine resource conservation and other societiesActive in activities. Stamps are issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding, and are designed with Boy Scouts and Shureimon. 1500 stamps were distributed.
