国際連合創立20周年 1965（昭和40年） 8月 24日発行 国際連合（以下国連と略称）は、国際連盟The League of Nationsの後を受けて、第二次世界大戦直後に設立され、国際平和と安全の維持をおもな目的とする、普遍的な平和機構である。沖縄では1965年8月に「国連創立20周年」記念切手を発行した。日本は1966年7月に、「ユネスコ創立20周年」記念切手を発行した。この切手はみほん加刷2000枚が配賦された。
