Philatelic Week Issued on 4Apr. 18, 1968 (Showa42) Okinawa Stamps Hobby Week stamps feature many crafts and works of art from the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom era. This time, "Unryu Inro" was adopted. The Unryu Inro is said to have been made by Hirotaka Yonahara, who was active as an engraver in Ryukyu around the 18th century, but there is no definitive proof.
