としよりの日 1968（昭和43年） 9月 15日発行 1968年（昭和43）9月、沖縄で「としよりの日」切手が発行された。1947年に兵庫県で始まったとしよりの日は、全国に普及し沖縄でも9月15日から21日までの1週間を「としよりの日」と定めた。後に「老人の日」を経て、国民の祝日である「敬老の日」に発展した。切手はこの週間を記念して発行され、老人踊り（かじゃでぃふうぶし）が描かれている。 参考；フリー百科事典『ウィキペディア（Wikipedia）』2022.3
Oldster's Day Issued on Sept. 15, 1968 (Showa43) In September 1968 (Showa 43), a "Toshiyori no Hi" (Oldster's Day )stamp was issued in Okinawa. The Toshiyori no Hi, which began in Hyogo Prefecture in 1947, has spread nationwide, and the week from September 15th to 21st has been designated as "Toshiyori no Hi" in Okinawa. Later, after "Oldster's Day", it developed into "Respect for the Aged Day" which is a national holiday.
