切手趣味週間 1970（昭和45年） 4月 15日発行 沖縄の切手趣味週間切手は、古代琉球王国時代の工芸品や美術品が多く取り上げられている。今回は「ヤーシ小（やーし・しょう）」＊が採用された。ヤーシ小は沖縄の携帯用酒壺で、清明祭の時に腰に吊るして使用された。くり抜いたココヤシの実に錫製の注入口があり、藤弦の縁取り細工が施されている。明治初期までは盛んに使用された。 参考：琉球政府郵政庁 発行時資料
Philatelic Week Issued on Apr. 15, 1970 (Showa45) Okinawa Stamps Hobby Week stamps feature many crafts and works of art from the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom era. This time, "Yashi Sho" * was adopted. Yashiko is a portable sake jar in Okinawa, which was used by hanging it on the waist during the Qingming Festival. The hollowed out coconut has a tin inlet and is edging with wisteria strings.
