Folk Craftwork Series Issued on 1971 (Showa46)

Folk Craftwork Series Issued on 1971 (Showa46) In 1971 (Showa 46), five kinds of traditional Okinawan folk implement series stamps were issued. Okinawan folk tools are people's daily life tools created by human hands using natural materials, such as the bamboo basket "Burki" and the Uchiwa "Kubaoji" made from kuba (billow) leaves. Many types have been made. The stamps are designed with the weaving machine "Jibata", the thread reeling machine "Yama", the rice planting costumes "Shunnuru" and "Kubagasa", a rice mortar "Siriushi" , and "Utoi" that draws out the seawater of the boat.
