看護教育25周年 1971（昭和46年）12月24日発行 沖縄の看護教育は1946年（昭和21）に開始された。同年4月に、宜野座病院付属看護学校、名護病院付属看護婦学校、沖縄中央病院付属看護婦学校が開校し、看護教育が開始された。切手は沖縄の看護教育25年を記念して発行され、看護学生にローソクがデザインされている。 参考：嘉手苅英子著『沖縄県における看護師学校養成所の推移』
25th Anniv. of Nurses Training Issued on Dec.24, 1971 (Showa46)
Nursing education in Okinawa started in 1946 (Showa 21). In April of the same year, the Nursing School attached to Ginoza Hospital, the Nursing School attached to Nago Hospital, and the Nursing School attached to Okinawa Central Hospital opened, and nursing education began. Stamps are issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of nursing education in Okinawa, and candles are designed for nursing students.
