切手趣味週間 1972（昭和47年） 4月 20日発行
沖縄の切手趣味週間切手は、古代琉球王国時代の工芸品や美術品が多く取り上げられている。今回は「嘉瓶（ゆしびん）」＊が採用された。嘉瓶は、首里・那覇の上流階級の間で、祝事のある家に祝儀用に泡盛をつめて贈る瓶である。嘉瓶と呼ばれる所以で、口は太く長く、胴部は瓢（ひさご）形で抱えやすいようにくびれ、家紋をつけたのもある。これが、本土復帰前の最後の発行切手である。

Kabin is a bottle that is filled with awamori for ceremonial occasions to a house with a celebration among the upper classes of Shuri and Naha. Because it is called Kabin, its mouth is thick and long, and its body is gourd-shaped, constricted to make it easy to hold, and has a family crest.
