第4次航空 1961年（昭和36年）9月21日発行 沖縄の通常切手は、1958年の通貨変更によって、それまでのB円切手にドル表示して発行していたが、1959年から順次ドル表示切手に切り替えられた。航空切手も、1961年9月にデザインを変更して発行された。天女のデザインとしては3回目の変更となった。
4th Air Mail Stamps Issued on Sept. 21 , 1961 (Showa36) Due to the currency change in 1958, Okinawa's regular stamps were issued in dollars on B-yen stamps until then, but from 1959 they were gradually switched to dollar- displayed stamps. Airmail stamps were also redesigned and issued in September 1961. This is the third change in the design of the celestial maiden.
