花シリーズ 1962年（昭和37年）～1971年（昭和46年） 1962年に沖縄の花をデザインした切手が発行された。この切手には新たに13Cと15C、17Cの新額面が加えられた。沖縄の切手は、記念切手だけではなく、通常切手も本土で人気があり、発行数の内相当数が本土で買われている。この事から、琉球郵政庁と郵政省との協議で、本土の郵趣家に販売する目的もあったものと思われる。
Flower Series Issued on 1962 (Showa37)-1971(Showa46) In 1962, stamps designed with Okinawan flowers were issued. New denominations of 13C, 15C and 17C have been added to this stamp. Not only commemorative stamps but also regular stamps are popular in the mainland, and a considerable number of the issued stamps are bought in the mainland. From this, it seems that there was also a purpose to sell to philately on the mainland in consultation between the Ryukyu Post Office and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
