日中平和友好条約締結10年 1988年（昭和63年） 8月 12日発行 郵政省は1988年8月、日本と中国の間で日中平和友好条約締結10年を記念して切手を発行した。日通平和友好条約は、第1条で主権・領土の相互尊重、相互不可侵、相互内政不干渉が記述され、第2条で反覇権を謳い、第3条で両国の経済的、文化的関係の一層の発展を述べて、第4条でこの条約の第三国との関係について記されている。しかし、2012年8月以降、中国は日本領土（国際法）の尖閣諸島への領海侵犯を際立たせている。

In August 1988, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a stamp to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the conclusion of the Japan-China Peace and Friendship Treaty between Japan and China. Article 1 of the Nippon Express Peace and Friendship Treaty describes mutual respect for sovereignty and territory, mutual inviolability, and mutual non-intervention in internal affairs.
Article 4 describes the treaty's relations with third countries, stating the further development of relations.
However, since August 2012, China has highlighted the invasion of Japanese territory (international law) into the Senkaku Islands.
