世界歴史都市会議 1987年（昭和62年） 11月 18日発行 「世界歴史都市会議」は、1987年に京都市で開催され、「世界歴史都市会議協議会」が設立された。会議はその後フィレンツェ、バルセロナを経て、1994年に「世界歴史都市連盟」となった。会議には歴史性のある都市が加盟し、交流促進、情報交換・研究を目的としている。切手は、この会議開催を記念して発行され、「京都の二条城」がデザインされている。
World Historic Cities Conference Issued on November 18, 1987 (Showa 62)
The "League of Historical Cities" was held in Kyoto in 1987, and the "League of Historical Cities" was established. The conference then passed through Florence and Barcelona before becoming the League of Historical Cities in 1994. Historical cities are members of the conference, with the aim of promoting exchanges, exchanging information and research.
The stamp was issued in commemoration of this conference, and "Nijo Castle in Kyoto" was designed.
