日タイ修好宣言調印100年 1987年（昭和62年） 9月 26日発行
日タイ両国は、600年の長い交流の歴史があり、伝統的に友好関係を維持している。
近代では、1887年（明治20）に、「日タイ修好宣言」が調印されて正式に国家と国民間の交流が開始された。切手は、その100年を記念して発行され、「エメラルド寺院と仁王像と桜」がデザインされている。
Centenary of The Japan-Thailand Friendship Declaration

Japan and Thailand have a long history of exchanges of 600 years and have traditionally maintained friendly relations. In modern times, in 1887 (Meiji 20), the "Japan-Thailand Preference Declaration" was signed and officially started exchanges between the nation and the people.
The stamp was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary and designed with "Emerald Temple, Nio Statue and Sakura".
