蘭・第12回世界会議 1987年（昭和62年） 3月 19日発行 世界らん会議（World Orchid Conference） は国際的で大規模な蘭の祭典である。第12回世界らん会議は1987年に日本で開催され、世界21ヶ国から出品の30,000株の蘭を展示した。切手はこの会議を記念して発行され、「フウラン」と「ニオイエビネ」がデザインされている。

The World Orchid Conference is an international and large-scale orchid festival. The 12th World Orchid Conference was held in Japan in 1987 and exhibited 30,000 orchids exhibited from 21 countries around the world.
Stamps were issued to commemorate this conference and are designed with "Vanda falcata" and "Nioi Ebine".
