国際文通週間 1984年（昭和59年） 10月 6日発行 1984年10月、国際文通週間（International Letter Writing Week）切手が発行された。これは文通による相互理解で世界平和に貢献する国際週間である。万国郵便連合（UPU）結成日である10月9日から1週間、毎年設定されている。切手は、人形作家の堀柳女（ほりりゅうじょ）作「瀞（とろ）」がデザインされている。
